They encourage us to rethink our anthropocentric relationship with the cosmos.
My work takes the form of personal artistic interventions in space and of curated collaborative orbital projects.

MISSE-22/SPX-34 is the first space art mission through The Foundry - Orbital Art Lab. Its purpose is twofold: to experience and validate every aspect of the operational structure of the new Orbital Art Lab, and to set the stage for the development of my Astromorphic Art practice. The first astromorphic art series will investigate the evolution of colour as experienced through interaction with the space environment.
Also on this mission are a series of Cosmoglyphs - small abstract depictions, and a series of blank canvases that will be used to develop space jewelry.

Neither a satellite nor a cosmic ray fully exists as what it is until they meet. That encounter produces, again and again, what neither carried alone. The satellite interacts with cosmic rays. I engage with Karen Barad's concept of 'intra-action': entities do not pre-exist their relations. They are constituted through them. The artwork does not pre-exist the encounter. The artwork is the encounter.
